why i’m building Index

i’ve always wanted to make things and have a place to organize everything i needed along the way.

i’d save references, collect links, and write down ideas. but when it came time to work on something, a lot of that material was forgotten about or hard to find. the tools i used helped me save things, but bringing them into a project was still up to me.

that’s why i’m building Index. a place where references and ideas can live alongside projects, boards, notes, and the things that need doing.

i also believe we spend too much time consuming and too little time making. i feel that in my own life. there’s so much interesting work to discover, and i want more of that inspiration to become something we try, explore, or make ourselves.

i want Index to help people do that. to come back to an idea, start something, and keep working on it.
